Los Angeles Black Worker Center (LABWC) Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

for Email, Text Message, and Cell Phone Usage

By providing your email address and/or phone number to the Los Angeles Black Worker Center (LABWC), you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding the use of your contact information.

1. Use of Contact Information

LABWC respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Your email address and/or phone number will never be sold, shared, or distributed to third-party organizations for marketing or sales purposes.

Your contact information will be used solely for LABWC-related purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Fundraising campaigns and initiatives
  • Event invitations and updates
  • Advocacy and policy engagement
  • Community organizing efforts
  • Emergency and urgent communications related to our work
  • General updates about LABWC’s initiatives and impact

2. Email Communications

By opting into email communications, you consent to receive periodic messages from LABWC regarding our work, events, and engagement opportunities. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us directly at hello@labwc.org.

3. Text Message Communications

By providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive text messages from LABWC, including alerts, updates, and calls to action. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s plan.

4. Cell Phone Usage & Data Security
