Organizing & Policy Action Coordinator:

The Organizing & Policy Action Coordinator would report to the Campaign & Coalition Manager who would serve as a thought partner in how to prioritize and carry out the work. Ideal candidates must be able to strategize and shape comprehensive (research, legal, policy, communications, and grassroots and grass tops field) direct action campaigns that engage members.

Candidates must be able to empathize and build relationships with partner allies and stakeholders, as well as coalitional and partnership relationships at leadership and staff level with unions, community-based organizations and political stakeholders that center Black workers.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time position, local to South Central Los Angeles, up to $34 per hour depending on experience, plus a generous benefit package of health and dental insurance, retirement plan, sick, vacation, and floating holidays.

IT Systems and Support Specialist:

The IT Systems & Support Specialist is a key member of our Technology & Operations team, playing a critical role in supporting the digital infrastructure of a rapidly growing organization as we prepare to expand our advocacy work. Under the supervision of the IT Coordinator, as a member of the Operations Team. This position provides hands-on technical support, manages day-to-day IT operations, ensures systems are secure and reliable, and helps build the technology capacity required for programs, campaigns, field work, and organizational growth.

Compensation and Benefits:

Regional Organizer – Engagement & Impact Coordinator:

The Southern California Black Worker Hub (So Cal BW Hub) seeks an experienced, dynamic leader who has demonstrated success in coordinating and leading teams and someone who is ready to leverage the energy and membership of our Black Worker Center (BWC) family and partner organizations across Southern California.

Works in collaboration with the So Call BW Hub Director, partner leadership, staff, Policy lead and consultant teams, coordinate engagement of partners in regional, state, and national campaigns. This includes collaborative comprehensive policy advocacy campaigns across the region through data collection, narrative development, digital engagement strategies, and partnerships that support high-level organizing campaigns with impact on the ground and builds visibility and mobilization.

The Regional Organizer will develop, coordinate, and execute an integrated communications strategy across media platforms to engage and grow So Cal BW Hub’s digital universe /worker base to move them from on-line into the BWC communities.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time, exempt position. Salary ranges from $80,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a generous benefits package with 100% premium coverage for employee medical, dental, and vision.
