Inner City Law advocates for equitable housing policies and provide legal services to prevent and curb homelessness for low-income, working-poor families, immigrants, people who are disabled or living with HIV/AIDS, and homeless veterans.

 

In the area of housing, they can provide support with:

  • Advocate for policies for affordable housing
  • Protections against unjust evictions
  • Assist veterans with health services, housing and disability benefits
  • Expanded supportive services for chronically homeless individuals
  • Advocates for existing laws ensure slumlords maintain their buildings and face consequences for taking advantage of tenants
