Handyworker Program

Handyworker program is administered by City of Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) helps people living with disabilities and senior to correct safety hazards and health hazards. Handyworker program parters with locally licensed general contractors for minor home repairs for both renters (up to $600) and home owners (up to $5,000).

They can provide residents help with common repairs/installments including, but not limited to:

  • Wheelchair ramps
  • Handrails
  • Doors and locks
  • Flooring
  • Outlets
  • Toilets
