2026 Midterm Election Voter Guide
The 2026 midterm election takes place on Tuesday, November 3, and is equally as important as a four-year presidential election. Midterm elections occur every 2 years, or halfway through the president’s four-year term. Unlike presidential elections, midterms let voters elect members of Congress, state officials, and other leaders who shape the laws, budgets, and policies that affect our daily lives.
Take time to review what’s on your ballot, learn about the propositions and measures, and make informed decisions before Election Day.
