Minimum Wage

From July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, the minimum wage in Los Angeles County is $15.96 per hour. All employers in the County must post the required workplace poster and pay this minimum wage rate, with few exceptions.

The Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs enforces the minimum wage. It works with employees and employers to ensure that violations of the County’s minimum wage law are identified, addressed, and remedied in a timely and effective manner.
