Black Workers’ Rights

Working people in America have certain basic legal rights to safe, healthy and free from discrimination at work. But many employers violate these fundamental rights because they value their profits more than their workers. The Los Angeles Black Worker Center develops organized power and grassroots leaders with permanent projects: Worker Justice Action Committee, Worker Justice University, and the Legal Advisory Committee strengthen protections in the workplace for Black workers through knowledge and leadership develop.

LA BWC develops organized power and grassroots leaders who strengthen all of Los Angeles by advancing economic and racial justice for Black workers and the families that rely on them.
